The premium oils ensure that fluid transmissions function flawlessly even under the most difficult operating conditions and large temperature fluctuations. The oils have extremely good lubricating properties and extraordinary corrosion protection. They have great compatibility with seals. ATF 3+: The fluid transmission oil is a preparation made of mineral oil raffinate with various non-toxic substances. JWS 3309: Highly refined base oils and additives. Transmission oil change functionality The purpose of the transmission oil is to minimise the mechanical friction within the transmission. In addition, it acts as a pressure accumulator and thereby supports the gear-changing process. Despite lifetime filling, the additives may dissolve after a certain time, depending on the use, e.g. due to fast and sporty driving or frequent trailer operation. This causes the transmission oil to lose not only its lubricating properties but also its ability to dissipate heat and build up sufficient pressure. This may make it necessary to change the transmission oil.
