For improved and reliable combustion in diesel engines: The fast preheating and post glow time of the Duraterm glow plug, developed by Bosch in 1990, contributes towards fuel efficiency and the reduction of engine emissions.
- Bosch developed the 11-volt Duraterm technology: Reaches the preheating temperature of approximately 850°C in about 5 seconds.
- Knowledge from original equipment since 1922: Extensive diesel experience is also in the glow plug workshop programme.
- Post glow time of up to 3 minutes: Additional functions such as, intermediate and regeneration annealing, ensure smooth running and comfort in all load ranges.
- Bosch glow tube: Provides long service life and protection against corrosion.
