Hammerite No.1 Rust Beater provides a high build finish to heavily pitted areas of rust and prevents new rust from forming. It is compatible with most top coats and can be applied directly onto rust: kills rust, primes and undercoats. Simply apply two coats, allowing 6 hours between coats to get a corrosion resistant finish. This beige rust beater comes in a 250ml tin. First developed by Allen Forster in 1962, Hammerite paint was one of the first of its kind, in the world of metal specific paints. After a long period within the industry, Hammerite was acquired in 1998 by ICI, the paints specialists.
